The unveiling of Guruvana Sri Durga Kshethra has been the fruition of the vision of Sri Sri Narendranatha Yogeeshwareshwar Swami aimed at the realization of “adyatmik soudha”, the abode of spiritualism. Sri Guru Parashakthi Mutt, established by Sri Swami at Marakad of Mangalore has been steadfastly striving to uphold the principles of venerable “sanatan tattva” highlighting universal brotherhood and well-being. Sri Swami is of the firm opinion that the gradual transformation from the sanatanism to the present state is due to the deviation of the latter generations from the basic tenets propounded by our ancient philosophy, i.e. “sanatan tattva”. This has resulted in series of loopholes in the chain of linkages bonding the generations across janmas and accumulated in the form of “karmanga doshas”. The only way to come out of such “karma bandhan” is to involve ourselves in the acts of rectification for the misdeeds committed by us, either knowingly or unknowing. Resurrection of the places of worship which were once upon a time brought into ruins because of our own deeds in our past or present lives, will be the major act of atonement in this regard. Thus, Sri Guru Parashakthi mutt, under the aegis of Sri Sri Narendranath Yogeeshwareshwar Swami has been focusing on internal purification, both at individual and universal level through such holistic efforts. Such acts of purgation will establish a place for divinity within one self though self realization leading to “Satya Darshan”.Through the powers of divine vision and “sankalpa shakthi”, i.e. will power, Sri Swami has been able to identify the reasons for deviation from sanatanism and set in the motion of corrective measures. Guruvana Sri Durga kshethra had once been sanctified by the saanidhya of Jaganmatha, worshipped by Lord Parashuram and Sri Sri Macchendranath Yogeeshwareshwar in ancient period and Sri Shanthayyajja, a saintly personality in the recent past at the same place. Gradually, this saanidhya has moved into obscurity due to acts of misfortunes at various stages of time. Hence, the resurrection of Guruvana Sri Durga kshethra involving thousands of people in the process is exactly one such process of rejuvenation of spiritual values and practices, leading towards the ultimate goal of sanatan tatva. The regular prayer of “kshamaa yachana”(seeking apologies) in all humbleness with tears of repentance and sweat of labour will naturally shed one of his misfortunes and elevate him into higher echelon of hallowedness, where the divine grace of mother almighty will be permeating as protective umbrella.
